Beaver Lake Dam, located on the White River in Arkansas.
2008 has been the most water the dam has ever released at one time. During March and April the lake level was at the very top of the flood pool, requiring the flood gates to be opened four times in a three week period.

ASU Seminole Twin Towers Implosion
The Arkansas State University Seminole Twin Towers Residence Hall was completed in the Fall of 1967 at a cost of just under $3 million. At full capacity, the building held 1,129 male students in its 175,204 sq. ft. The building stood 100 feet tall and was used to house students through the 2006 academic year. It was imploded on May 25, 2008 at 7:00 a.m. CDT by Controlled Demolition Incorporated.

This is a few clips we took on a 35 mile round trip boat ride on the Buffalo River in northern Arkansas. It was about the perfect day. The River level is about 5' at the gauge. Plenty of water to get around on. Using a 9.9 hp Yamaha 2 stroke on a 20' flat bottom boat. You are limited to 10 hp on this river.
